About Dr. Truog
Donations to the Cooper Connor Endowed Fund for Pulmonary Research will support the Children's Mercy Hospital Center for Infant Pulmonary Disorders and the research of Dr. William Truog, Neonatologist, Professor of Pediatrics and Sosland Chair in Neonatal Research.
The goal of the Center and Dr. Truog's work is to bring together promising research efforts and new therapies that seek to lessen the effects of lung diseases on babies. Discoveries resulting from the Center will benefit not only infants in the Midwest, but those throughout the United States and beyond who suffer from crippling and life-threatening pulmonary disorders.
